Introducing Silas Paul Bartel...FINALLY!
So my new baby brother is already a month old, and Mommy and Daddy have finally gotten around to give me some pictures to put on the blog. People keep saying something about how that's what happens to the 'second child'. I'm not sure exactly what that means, but I kind of like it :)
So anyway, Silas was born on June 18, at 9:45 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. Here are a few of his first pictures:
Of course, I have to show you a couple pics of both of us. We're pretty cool together, don't you think?
And, since mommy and daddy were so slow in getting pictures on here of Silas, he's already a month old. Here he is today....smiling!

Yay! I can tell you're already a great big brother, Micah! : ) Good job posting about Silas. Make sure you let us know about all the cool stuff you teach him!
I know you don't remeber me, Micah, but I had the wonderful opportunity to work with your Mommy for a short time when your family lived in California. I miss her LOTS! I got to see you when you were teeny tiny, just like Silas is now! Anyway, I know your family will have many fun times ahead! Congratulations to you all!
